Upcycled SPOOKY Terrorium Workshop @ Bella Vista [10/23]

Join us on Friday, October 23rd from 6:30 - 8 PM for an Upcycled Spooky Terrorium Workshop at STUMP Northern Liberties! Dive in to a hands-on build-your-own terrarium workshop led by shop manager, Jess, where you’ll bring in your favorite terrarium glass or repurposed glassware to craft haunted, sustainable creations. This class is open to all levels of experience with plants. Everyone welcome :)

Bring your own (clean) glass vessel — a large mason jar, teapot, fishbowl, anything with a wide enough opening to work in — and join us for a sustainably spooky evening of terrarium building! A lid is not required for a successful terrarium.

We’ll guide you step by step through creating a one-of-a-kind Halloween-inspired terrarium while you:

• Learn which plants thrive in a terrarium environment and how to layer for drainage, soil, and design.

• Choose from ferns, tropical plants, and a mix of spooky, seasonal miniatures, driftwood, and other Halloween details to make it your own.

• Learn how to care for your finished terrarium so it thrives long after the workshop.

Your ticket includes:

• A selection of tropical and fern plants to build your custom terrarium

• All terrarium materials: drainage layers, soil, decorative moss and Halloween-inspired miniatures

• Light refreshments: sweet treats and seasonal hot tea

• Tools to help you plant and style your piece

We’ll set the mood with a Halloween playlist, cozy candles, and space for connection.
